Dear testers,

We have released a new ALPHA build. ALPHA is for those who want to have the very latest code, but don't want to build from source. This build is version 4.13.8.1 and you can download the installers here:

Windows (http://www9.limewire.com/alpha/LimeWireWin.exe)
OSX (http://www9.limewire.com/alpha/LimeWireOSX.dmg)
Linux Ubuntu (http://www9.limewire.com/alpha/LimeWireLinux.deb)
Linux RPM (http://www9.limewire.com/alpha/LimeWireLinux.rpm)
Other (http://www9.limewire.com/alpha/LimeWireOther.zip)

These builds have the very latest code. They have the latest features, but also the latest bugs. You may lose information. They may crash your computer. Do not install them unless you are willing to take some chances!

These builds will expire on July 2n. We will provide updated alpha or beta builds before then.

===========
New in this version:
* A lot of code to support TLS connections. Not enabled, as we're testing how it integrates with the rest of LimeWire.

Major fixes in this version:
* Fix for the hideous memory leak. Eternal gratitude to Hopalong - without him we would have never caught it.
* LimeWire will use less memory if you have large hostiles.txt file or a lot of blacklisted hosts
* LimeWire will use less cpu if you have a lot of downloads going on at the same time
* Fix for the title audio column not appearing on Java 1.6

===========

Thank you for testing,
The LimeWire Team.
