Tray icon appeared suddenly

I walked through LW's options from the beginning, and the LW tray icon appeared suddenly. I had to enable and apply, then disable and apply the "Show System Tray Icon" option to remove the tray icon.

You're using Windows? We haven't really thoroughly tested the scenario where someone doesn't have the tray icon visible... who wouldn't want it?! :)

I have Windows XP. It is a new thing with 4.13.12, at least I've never seen this before.

Can you reproduce it? I can't seem to make it happen here.

This was the second time it occurred with the new beta in a few days, but I was not able to reproduce it. I will re-try after I can restart LW.

I restarted LW, and when I went onto "System Tray" on the left side of the options, the tray icon appeared. We can go directly.

I want to say, it appears only one time (at first) in a LW session. If I corrected, doesn't appear again.

Hmm, OK. Will figure out what's wrong. If you're able to provide an exact sequence for repeatability (settings when starting, what option to go to, what happens when changing what, etc..) it'd help much.

Start LW, do anything, Tools, Options, select "System Tray" : the LW tray icon appears.
When I exit from options with ok/cancel, apply/not, the icon remains during the LW session.

I can remove this tray icon by the enable "show system tray icon" and apply, and disable and apply sequence. In this case the icon appears only again, if I start a new lw session, and redo all.

If I doesn't select "System Tray" option at all, there's no problem.

The original settings: "System Tray" option: shutdown behavior: shutdown immediately, show system tray icon: disabled

Isn't this in conjunction with "- Recognize when loading the tray icon fails, and allow LimeWire to properly
close." in the 4.13.11 features history ?

I can PM all of my option settings, if you want.
