[I'm hoping some Devs can help with this. If there is a more appropriate place for this Q on this site, please refer me.]

When I've been watching Searches go by on LimeWire, I've noticed that tons of them (as much as 30%) contain "2007". Is this some kind of bot that anyone is aware of? I suppose people could be intentionally searching for "2007" files, but it seems like something else is going on here. Any thoughts?

Here are some example searches I witnessed tonight:

shawshank redemption 2007
credit cards 2007
ccm dancemix 2007

Thanks [keith]

Many worms and spam bots add 2007 to their filenames to attract the unwary.
They got the trend from people who share movies and put the year on the filename.

Ok thanks -- So people are actually naming files with "2007" appended at the end of their File Titles? As opposed to lots of people just including "2007" in their seaches?

It's normal for movies. Makes them easier to find, especially if there's different ones
with the same or similar names.
