It seems to me that Limewire needs someone who knows the various genres of music to moderate and correct the constant mis-naming of what artist is performing what song ie; Bobby Darin listed as performing "Runaround Sue" which is actually performed by Dion & the Belmonts. This type of error is a HUGE problem everywhere on Limewire especially where old rock and roll is concerned. Many contributing hosts are simply not knowledgeable of who performed what.

This type of mis-information is actually contributing to the piecemeal dismantling of rock and roll history in that many younger people who like the old rock, are believing the song is performed by the artist as listed.

My credentials are as follows; I am 64 years of age, I know my rock and roll inside out, I am also a radio announcer/DJ and something of a perfectionist in that I do not play versions of a particular song even when its a cover version by the original artist ie; "new stereo recording by original artist." My collection consists of approximately 7,000 titles and not one is mis-labeled. All are original air-play versions with the original artist. I would appreciate input from Limewire management and other users.

If there was even the slightest possibility of such centralized control, LimeWire and
the entire gnutella network would have been destroyed by the copyright mafia years
ago. The public is in control of their own sharing, mistakes and all, and that is how
it must be.
