I've reported the internal error, and REPORT_BT_DISK_PROBLEMS=1.0 was set too.

There was about 10 gnutella download in the same time, now they didn't break the torrent download.

I've recreated the test, with the same result.

This was with LW 4.14.1

Can you post what the internal error was?

sorry, I didn't write it - I thought it is in the report.
Just now - after a fresh LW start - I tried the same, but now there was no problem.

We do get the reports.. but it's hard to track down individual ones. When we release, tons and tons and tons of reports come in, so we just sort out the most common ones.

I had fortune, I was able to reproduce the error. While I've read the error text, LW cheerfully downloaded and wrote more than twenty file.

Hi, thanks for the report. Could you please look at line 12 of the report and translate the non-english part of:

Caused by: java.io.IOException: A leĦr˘ ‚rv‚nytelen

Thanks!

The descriptor is invalid.

Thanks. Can you reproduce this easily? If so, could you please turn on logging on com.limegroup.bittorrent.disk.RAFDiskController to ALL when the torrent is about to finish downloading? It will help us figure out what's happening.

ok, I'll try.

The torrent is only 5.5 MiB, so I switched on the logging at start. The 3rd try was successful (I got the error), but I don't remember how many download is in the debug.

This one is elusive. Could you also turn on logging for

com.limegroup.bittorrent.TorrentManager
and
com.limegroup.bittorrent.disk.VerifyingFolder

Thanks!

I forgot the word "also", so "com.limegroup.bittorrent.disk.RAFDiskController" is missing, but perhaps this two is enough.

heh, I messed up too. I meant to say

com.limegroup.bittorrent.ManagedTorrent,

NOT com.limegroup.bittorrent.TorrentManager.

Could we try again please with all three turned on? Thanx thanx thanx

Does this happen only if there are also gnutella downloads in progress? If yes, are you saving the torrent and the gnutella downloads on the same hard drive?

Where can I specify a different drive for the torrent ? If can set, then I can try.

could you try unchecking "Safe chunk verification" in the advanced bittorrent options?

hopalong
