Salut all,

So I wanted to have my Java apps working with Compiz, so I installed Java 6.0 update 2 that is compatible with it.

Problem is that my Java apps work (Azureus, Mercury), but not LW anymore.

If I install the LimeWireLinux.deb, it will try to download Java 5.0 and install it, which LW should not normally do if it can find another suitable Java. If I run runLime.sh from LimeWireOther.zip, it cannot find Java. There is an error on line 24 when runLime.sh is run from the terminal.

Here is how I proceeded to install Java on my Ubuntu Feisty machine. http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=539423

Anybody knows what to do? Devs, I *feel* there are some possible improvements in the .deb installation and start up scripts to be made.

Any feedback welcomed ;)

The runLime file is incorrect -- it uses DOS newlines. We'll fix it for a service release.
