Limewire Shuts down

Hi,
I am new to this forums, and I can't open the other sections for Limewire. So, I don't know if this is the right place. Anyways getting to the problem, I minimize Limewire to the taskbar and when I start playing games on the system, I notice Limewire shuts down. It happens like this: I put some files to download in Limewire and then switch on a game. After finishing playing the game, when I try to click on Limewire icon in the taskbar, it disappears. When I again start it up, I see that the downloads have been completed till where I start the game. i.e No download has taken place since I started the game. Is this a bug or something wrong with my system? I am using Windows XP Service Pack 2.

Well, as nobody has answered your post, I'm assuming they don't know the reason.. It's the first time I heard of it myself.

Does LW keep running if you don't play the game..
and, what game is it?

I don't think it runs when the game starts, but the icon will still be there when I switch off the game. When I move my mouse pointer over it, it disappears. When I start up Limewire again, I see that the downloads have not taken place at all.

I have the same problem too.

Now its worse LW hangs itself everytime and I have to restart it and it will prompt a msg that downloads can not be started and i have to redownload again.

Any solution anyone...

There has, in the past, been a problem with Limewire coexisting with full screen games and I am not sure if it is something that has been addressed or not ...
