All downloads and uploads stop instantaneously

The speed goes to zero and the download times disappear for all of them. Task Manager has to be used to restart the the downloads and uploads.

This seems to occur right out of the blue. No action was taken on my part to cause it.

Sometimes everything just freezes up for no reason. And don't forget about the lockups when I try to pause a download.

This new version is a real POS. Give me back the old one.

It does sound as if your internet connection ... at least to Limewire is somehow cutting out, and I did find that on one occasion this happened to me on a Mac when I inadvertently disconnected from the internet. I reconnected but Limewire did not respond. I had forgotten about it until now.

Did you disable Mojito as suggested in another thread?

Are you using any kind of Games at the same time as running Limewire, or is a Screen-saver coming on which might be causing this??

It would help so much if we could see something .. like a crash log for instance for what is happening. Mac uses a console (not the Limewire one) for this and it is extremely useful. I am not sure how you do this in Windows. Clearly the Limewire console is no use in such a case...

Oh and please tell us which Operating system and java version (s) you have installed .. we don't seem to have that information
