Limewire shuts down automatically

Hi, i have a problem using limewire on my mac. It closes after 5 seconds and it says it quit unexpectedly. If you could help me it would be appreciated. All vital Information is below"
I have version 10.5.1 (Leopard) it's an Intel based mac.
LW version is 4.15.2
Java versions are 5.0 and 1.4.2.

More info needed: could you open your Applications/Utilites/Console.app and get the relevant error message that shows when you try to run LimeWire?

The error mesage that is displayed in the console is:

29/12/07 1:11:58 PM [0x0-0x92092].com.limegroup.gnutella[736] Invalid memory access of location 00000000 eip=005b6dd8

The next message is this:
29/12/07 1:12:00 PM com.apple.launchd[81] ([0x0-0x92092].com.limegroup.gnutella[736]) Exited abnormally: Bus error

Hmm. That would indicate a hardware problem (RAM), or less likely, a problem with the OS 10.5.1 Java.

I saw this once before, but never heard back from the fellow what worked.

try http://www.phex.org/mambo/ (a non-limewire java app) to see if it gives the same problem.
