I downloaded the beta version of LimeWire since the latest major release has resulted in LimeWire not being able to connect to the internet. Unforunately, the beta version also has this problem.

Here is my thread in the main forums: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/connection-problems/80514-limewire-cannot-connect.html

I hope this problem gets resolved soon.

This thread has been closed. Please visit my other thread entitled "LimeWire Bugs".

I'm assuming you read the information in support..

And did you try replacing the gnutella.net file?

I followed the directions in the first link and now LimeWire has 1 out of 5 of its connection lights let. It also indicates that I am sharing 128 files. So it is partically working.

As for the gnutella.net file, I have tried that before, and it didn't help.
