Only text and audio search's option? For my safety.

Hey i really need a way to censor MY use of limewire. I only really need Document and audio searches, everything else just leads to bad things. I'm willing to download or manually edit my files but i need a way to censor myself.

If it helps to further your willingness, i am under age and I wish to become a better person but my own morbid curiosity of the obscene always draws me back. I am willing to destroy any file in order to keep limewire because i am an avid fan and have been loyal for 3 years. Please help with any knowledge you have ie; clients or ways to manually edit the files.

That is the most delayed bump I ever saw .. and you deserve a reply for sure :D

Go to otions > Filters > keywords and check "ignore adult content"

then enter the following, not forgetting the (.) dots in front of each


.asx
.bat
.dll
.dot
.eml
.htm
.jpg
.lnk
.mov
.rmvb
.swf
.torrent
.wma
.wmv
.xls
.xml

In addition a few more just for you for you are

.avi
.mpg
.mpeg
.mp4

I could give you a long list of undesirable words to enter but I won't .. you will probably go and try them all out .. :)

I hope this helps ... keep away from the video button .. actually I'm not sure it will give you any results now .. and er .. forget where the keyword filter is when you have put the list in.

Add all the types of files you don't want to the keywords filters.
While you're there you can turn on the adult content filter.
