View Full Version : Cannot Open Limewire 5 (Mac OSX)

Hello, I am new to the Limewire Alpha, I am trying to open Limewire 5 on my MacBook however it is giving me a Java error, it needs to use Java 1.6+ however for macs 32 bit there is only 1.5 out. Does anyone know a way around this?

There's no way around it, sorry. Apple has chosen to stop supporting Java on all of their platforms, and have only released Java 6 for 64 bit machines running an Intel processor.

That sounds somewhat suicidal. What are they thinking?
