Where Did The Skins Option Go in LimeWire 5.0.4 ?????

Hey Everyone. I'm a dihard LimeWire fan. And I loved to change the skins all of the time. Where have they been moved to. Or maybe they have been cut out of this version all together :( If they are still available. How do i change them in v5.0.4? And if they are not available. When will they be available? Someone please let me know A.S.A.P. Thank you!

There's unfortunately no skins in LimeWire 5. Skins are unfortunately a _very_ hard thing to incorporate into a UI. We haven't ruled skins out completely for the future, but in order to ship LimeWire 5 anytime soon, we had to cut skins.

If enough people are concerned about skins, we can certainly make an effort to re-include them sooner (rather than later).

Thank You for the reply. Hopefully enough people we read this andfeel the same way i do. I love to change the skins within limewire. but if it doesn't get put into the full release of 5. Then that will be ok to. But i hope it does get put in. Thanks for your help!

to be honest I have never really used a skin, and with the heavy updates to the gui that the LW team has done with this release (as well as performance wise) I really dont think it will be a major concern, at least not until LW5 becomes stable. (Usually thes eguys get everything stable at around the 3rd or 4th release in a given upgrade.

Hopefully by then they will incorporate skin changing. As much as most of us love LW, using it while it looks how you want is all part of the enjoyment. Its like buying a vehicle you cant change the wheels on, it still is practical to use, but distracts from the pleasure of using it. I have confidence the programmers will realize this and fix it accordingly.

I really miss the classic limewire look. the new one is just "too new" You can download the classic limewire skin, so it would be appreciated if someday in the near future we could implement that on limewire 5

Just adding my 2 cents. I was never into fancy skins but I did like the black one as I try to put a dark look on all my application windows when possible.

I can't live without skins. And, I really don't think skins are so hard to incorporate into a UI. I mean, come on.

In a future release skins should be back, don't ask me when though. If it's that important to you, just go back to LW 4. :)

Please make the skins like they were. It really is nicer to not have to look at a plain white screen like everything else. It is important to me. Thank you!!!!
