help connecting!!

This is strange, I have been using limewire for over a year now, and starting yesterday I have not been able to connect - it is telling me "no internet connection". I have checked my firewalls, all my security, everything is allowed for limewire..... does anyone have any fixes to this dilemma?? I'm on Limewire 5 alpha. Thank you in advance!!

Can you give the beta 5.0.4 a shot? Were ever able to connect with the alpha or beta?

I haven't tried that. Had been using 4.18 up until the other day, then I had trouble with connection and saw the alpha version so i downloaded new. Never got connected with alpha and have not tried downloading beta. should I try beta??? Or do we think it's my computer??? I obviously do have an internet connection....

Give the new beta a try.. hopefully that'll work. If not, report back and we'll try other things.

I have not been able to connect to limewire since before Christmas. I've even downloaded the new beta version, and still nothing. It says no internet connection, but I have the internet. Please help me, I love limewire and miss using it!
