I am using windows 7 beta 1 build 700 and was attempting to install 5.07 over top of 5.04 and ran into a small issue with the installer. When the installer trys to uninstall the old version it leaves the previous versions shortcuts in the start menu recently used progrms in the start menu.
This also happedned when I updated from 5.03 to 5.04. Manually running the uninstaller then manually running the new installer works fine and does not cause this issue.

Hi Typhoon,
We actually haven't tested on the Windows 7 yet. I'll add the problem to our bug tracker. Besides the uninstaller issue, how has LimeWire been running on Windows 7?

It actually happens for me to, but it's not a big deal to remove the shortcuts. It happens on both Vista and Windows 7.
It works great in Windows 7, i haven't noticed any issues with LimeWire on Windows 7 or Vista.

Hi Typhoon,

The issue is small and it appears to be just the shortcuts that are left it does not appear to leave any reg keys or other files but this was just with a quick check of file dates/times. I know its a small issue but because I work in IT installers/uninstallers and updaters not working properly tend annoy me. At least this does not hose the machine like a certain app update we deployed on laptops at work and hosed the machine by deleting the MSGINA dll's
Most of the rest of app runs pretty good. I am using Java 6 standard update 11, performace is fine.
The only other thing I have noticed at the minute are that when limewire does not have enough of the video to show a preview it just does not show up wether you double click or right click and show preview and nothing happens. An error message would be nice.
It works fine with windows 7 libraries for pictures and videos, it finds all the files but does not share them by default unless you right click and choose share. This is deffinatly the correct deafault choice.
