I would like to share "selected" not only "all" or "none" files.

The filling or clearing of the Sharing column only happens, when I move the mouse pointer over a line or scroll.

You can share selected files in one of two ways.

1) In 'My Library', select 'share' next to the file you want to share. Then choose the friend you'd like to share it with.
2) Select the Friend you'd like to share with on the left, then click the 'Share' button. Check the files you'd like to share with that friend.

Are either of these methods not working for you? (Or not clear?)

I've tried the second way , and I forgot the right mouse click, from the menu I can share, unshare, ... the "selected" lines. Sorry.

I talked about share: all none left to the "Sharing" column header. When here I click on "all" or "none", LW doesn't refresh the Sharing field until I move the mouse pointer over the lines or use the scrollbar.

You should also be able to share selected lines from My Library by clicking 'share' in the 'Sharing' column. If it is shared, it should say "share (#)", where # tells you how many people it's shared with.

If you want to share multiple things and don't want to right-click, the method I prefer is to select them all and then drag them to the friend you'd like to share them with.

As for all/none not refreshing the sharing field... That sounds like an old bug. We put a lot of focus into fixing those specific issues for the last release. You're sure you're using 5.0.9?

With Clicking Share in Sharing column of My Library I can only share one (the current) file.

It's great, especially that I can share this way not only with the current friend.

One interesting thing: Anywhere I left click in the Sharing field, the file will selected. Probably that's the cause that neither the drag, neither the right mouse menu doesn't work in this column. I think it would be safer to handle only the direct click to the little rectangle, and then the drag and the menu could work in the sharing field too.

Sure. See attachments, sharing all.

Ok, I know this already, I only reflected to Sam's sentence, probably I misunderstood what he said.

Nah, I mistyped -- I wasn't thinking "selected" to mean multiple files. To share multiple files, you have to use the context menu or drag/drop.

Good solution to avoid the refreshing problem: don't refresh, enough a simple message window. But select all lines with Ctrl-A works too. And the problem is here again when one uses the on/off and the manual setting alternately.

Examining the friends, p2p sharing problem further, the sharing entire collection function looks to be good.
When I click to share off, the counter goes down to 0, but the files seems to be shared, and I have to scroll or move the mouse pointer, to LW refresh the screen - the old problem.

On sharing, does making my files available for sharing use up my internet when others download my files?

Use up what? It uses some of the available bandwidth.
If you are limited to a certain number of gigabytes per
month you might want to turn sharing off.
