Thanks for the feedback, jezzod. Out of curiosity, is there something in 5.0 that you particularly don't like or think doesn't work well? We'd like to make it work as well as it can for everyone.

I've just registered; my name's Andy
I've always used Limewire,
But Limewire is just looking amazing,
I have some bugs for you or things you might have forgot about in v5.0.11
Before I could be able to install Limewire onto a Memory Stick,
It is very useful for me, as I have hardly any space on my hard drive
I tried installing it 3 times; but all 3 tries were unsuccessful;
The installation was extremely slow compared to when I installed in on my hard drive
Right at the end, when the installer had finished downloading some packs, it aborted the installation and said the file is corrupt and told me to download limwire again; this happened to me all three times!
until i installed it on the hard drive, which i didnt want to have to do!
Also some music when launched plays really really slowly, like its bufferin, when searching for something.
When it was playing Love Lockdown, and Heartless, it did this but some others were fine.
Finally, when i clicked to download some music, i have to click in the search box, eventhough the word is highlighted; i thought several times the computer had froze!
it wud be useful if i cud just use the keyboard for searching.
To conclude, i am extremely impressed with the new Limewire just some issues you have which majorly concern me have forced me to stay at Limewire 4 for now; I hope to start using the new one when some of my above issues have been fixed.
I have Windows XP Home SP1, 256 MB RAM and the latest Java, if that helps!
Thanx, andychole :)

Firstly ,I am using both 5.0.11 and 14.18.8 on XP OS but on different computers. My personal preference is mainly influenced by the appearance and interactive OPTIONS provided on the classic 14.18.8 version.
My main issues are: I prefer to use selective search options,as different input enabled me to find the files I was seeking... for example searching artist name, then album, title or even using capital letters resulted in different results
and enabled me to find rare or additional material that one search input may not be able to locate.
and
When I am downloading files in 14.18.8 I can discern which files need more sources or awaiting sources etc by viewing status and select multiple or individual files to resume search.I miss the ability to resume stalled searches.
The layout just is more versatile and gives me a sense of doing something i.e. interacting with the program search and download functions. I am a D.I.Y kind of person and like to feel like I am involved in doing something and with 4.18.8. I have options and choice. The 14.18.8 layout gives me a sense of having options, involvement and control of the program.
I appreciate your efforts with version 5 but it seems like I have no "interface"
with this version. Even if it does it for me I like to have a choice.I also prefer driving manual cars rather than automatics so maybe its all psychological.
