No Connection?? Limewire no longer connects?

:confused: Can someone please advise me why I can no longer get a connection to Limewire? I have downloaded the latest version [ensuring no older versions were running in the background]
I have added Limewire to the firewall exception rule, however the icon displays the bars with a line thru them stating 'no internet connection'??
What am I doing wrong? Pleaaaaaaseee help :confused:

Okay, so I followed all the advice, doing Port Forwarding, setting up a static IP address and I also tried moving the Gnutella file etc etc... then I couldn't even get an internet connection at all!

So, I went back and undid everything, then I disconnected my modem and wireless router for 10 seconds (I have windows vista by the way), and hey presto, it works! Just thought I'd share that with you, as I'm sure I'm not the only one who was having difficulties and maybe doing the turning off and undoing everything might work for you!

Can someone please help me find a connection? I can't figure out all this jumbo with the firewalls! PLEASE?:confused:
