Isn't it automatic? Take a look in options for the checkmark to turn it on.

Previously(4.x) on OSX, LimeWire could save files automatically to iTunes. In LW5.0 that option is now available on Windows also.

If you want to import songs from limewire to itunes you used to have to make playlists, save them and then import them into itunes.

With the new one you can't make playlists, therefore you can't yet put music downloaded on limewire onto your ipod - trust me I've tried.

This is because you can't drag and drop songs from your shared (limewire) onto your ipod. The only other way is imported playlists - which you can't do yet. I have to wait until the new version of limewire 5 that'll bring playlists.

Suuuucks.

Anthony,

You don't need to make playlists in LW 5.0 to add the files to iTunes. If you go to Tools --> Options --> Downloads --> there's a check box for automatically adding files to iTunes. If this box is checked, any audio files you download in LW 5 will automatically be added to your iTunes.

Hey, if you go to your library in LimeWire and select the songs you want on your iPod, right-click, and click on 'locate on disk'...it brings you to where your Limewire music is saved. Highlight the music you want on your ipod and if your ipod's already plugged in, you can click on 'Send To' and click on your ipod...this will sync the new downloads to your ipod.

If that doesn't work..instead of doing the 'send to' step...right click on the music and click on 'open with...itunes'...then u can just add them to your libray.
