Library multiple file share/unshare bug

Multiple files cannot be shared or unshared via the Library window in LW 5. The popup window shows the share/unshare options but nothing happens when selected. Either this popup window should be removed else made useable. Otherwise people will get confused thinking it does in fact work. Thus at present only multiple files can be added/removed as shared files from the p2p window, unless the 'Remove from Library' option is used in the Library window.

Sorry Sam .. false alarm, I got it wrong. I repeated the process & it worked. I think it was the method. I needed to click the x to stop sharing. And likewise sharing is working. Sorry for the false alarm. :o After telling Birdy she tested it & told me it was the x that needed to be clicked.

When looking at library files, the checkmarks won't be visible when "My Library" on the left is highlighted.

Highlight "All Friends" on the left and you can then control which files your friends can download or
highlight "P2P Network" to select which files anybody on the P2P network can get.

Actually, Aaron, "All Friends" is a list of files your friends are giving you. "P2P Network" is a list of files you're giving to the P2P Network. It's not the cleanest thing in the world, so we're looking at ways to fix it up. It should explain it pretty clearly when you click each one, though, "P2P Network" should say, "Shared with the P2P Network", and "All Friends" should say, "Download from All Friends".

maybe u can help me all my songs in my libary are red how can i fix this pleaseThat would not apply to LimeWire 5, it would apply to LW version 4. To fix it, right-click parent folder or select all files within that folder at once & choose the Share option. The files are red because they are not being shared. You can set to share files immediately after downloading via Tools > Options > Sharing.

If red in incomplete folder, it's because you are not using Partial File Sharing, simply turn on that option under Tools > Options > Sharing > Advanced, but will only apply to new incomplete files. Files in incomplete folder should never be selected to share directly.
