How come when ever i try to put in a new theme, i put it in the theme folder and it wont save as a lwtp file instead as i regular zip file, and when i get it to show up on the view theme menu, i click on it and it says that the file is invalid or doesn't exist. How do i fix this?

I very much hope the answer is here http://forum.limewire.org/showthread.php?t=2322 I assume you are using Windows ... I am not ... if this still gives problems tell us exactly which Operating System you have and which skin(s) you are trying to install.

Did you right click on the link on the website and choose save linked content as .....or something similar ..... could you do that and save the file to your desktop and then let me know exactly what the file is called and the extension .... if it does not save as an lwtp file what does it save as? and could you try another browser to download it if this happens ...
there is no need to try and open the file ....

Hello josethpauline,
It depends what version of LimeWire you're using. Go to Help > About LimeWire and find out the version you're using. If you're using LimeWire 5, you won't be able to install a skin until skins are supported in LimeWire 5.
If you're using LimeWire 4, go here to learn how to install a skin:
