hi guys i am new here and i don't know where to post this,but i think i have a problem,i have people downloading my movies from me just not my music.i want to share that too but i don't know how . what am i doing wrong?

If I share movies which are popular I tend to find the film uploads take over and the Music files don't get a look in. Having said that .. check in Limewire's tools>options>sharing>shared folder and you can see what folders you are sharing and you can add or remove folders there. This can also be done in the Limewire Library but be VERY CAREFUL not to use the delete function on anything you might wish to stop sharing as you will delete it instantly from your computer.

Look at the User guide http://www.limewire.com/english/content/userguide.shtml which is very useful.

and be careful not to share anything you might not wish to share, like personal documents, by mistake.

Likewise for myself video files tend to get preference for some reason. But you can set Limewire to also share what you're downloading & what you've already downloaded. Tools>Options>Sharing will have an option for sharing what you have completed downloading as soon as it's finished. Also, partial file sharing is good for the network by helping speed up other peoples downloads & you can enable this by checking the option for this under Tools>Options>Uploads>Basic. By default both these options are enabled but you can re-check them anyway.

BTW some people periodically change/rotate their shares to keep the network dynamic. You may decide to move some videos out of share periodically.
