Is there a way to block the ability for another user to browse my files? I don't mind sharing my files with the network but to actually allow someone to view my files is another thing (or, are they just browsing the server and not tied directly to my pc?).

You can't block individual functionality. If you want to block someone, they're completely blocked.

I'm sorry - I was speaking on a global basis. Blocking all users, not just one or so.

Ah, ok. Sorry, there's no plans to do that either. Files you share with gnutella are available to anyone -- people can see your files in any number of ways (searching for them with easily matchable searches, for instance). Disabling browsing would do nothing to prevent someone from being able to see your shared files. If want to prevent files from being shared, remove them from the Public Shared list.

OK. I was mainly concerned that they had access to my pc. I know that access is restricted via sharing but hackers are hackers. If all they can do is see my files on Gnutella I have no problem with that.

LimeWire does not give people access to your computer. It gives people access to the files you choose to share.
