hey there, I recently found about this project and I would love to help. could someone please tell me about the bounties and how it works? like how do you get paid, how do you submit your files? or what happens if two people submit their code? and who gets paid with that?

Check out the wishlist at http://www.limewire.org/wiki/index.php?title=Bounties and click on one of the projects. Then you can sign up for a LimeWire JIRA account and add comments to the project (like you want to do that project, questions about the project, etc.). We'll help when we can.

Also for a non-bounty work, you can add a bug to the JIRA list and decide to fix that bug, or work on an open issue. Just communicate through the JIRA comment area so if someone else is working the issue, etc. you'll find out.
