limewire 5 says that i have no internet connection. obviously i do.

anyone know how to fix it?

i have tried uninstalling and re installing. no use.

The tips don't do jack.
We have all been over the tips - Uninstall, re install, delete Gnutella files, stop your fire wall...Blah, Blah, blah...
This is a problem from THEIR END NOT OURS!!! Too many users have the same problem including me. Ive just paid for my LW and I'm really pissed that LW cannot except and fix a problem that has stemmed from their end. I WILL BE ASKING FOR A FULL REFUND this is just bullshit. They don't even respond to emails in tech support.

heres how i was able to fix lime wire 5.

i perform a search on my system, i have vista by the way, i search for this gnutella.net it came up after i went to advance search and click on the include non index, hidden and system files. click on search. within second the file came up. i MADE SURE limewire was completely turn off both exit the program and clicking exit on the lower right hand side. once that was done i deleted the file gnutella.net then restarted limewire. now it works well. hope this helps alot of you fellows

ME TOO!!!!!!!!! I hella uninstalled & re-installed it! wasted time! did it a few times! restarted my computer! hella ****! not working! nobody found out how to resolve this **** problem???

If anyone found out how to at least get it workin for a lil bit... GET @ ME!!!!
