Default 1 sec videos

why 10mb videos run 1 sec and open a lot of window ? whats the prob ? virus ? why its not identify ?

what version of limewire are you using? you can check the version by going to Help > About LimeWire...

The reason I asked is that I thought for a moment you were using the newest beta, 5.4.0, which supports playing video.

4.12.6 is pretty old software (July 2006) so if it's a bug, you can probably understand why the developers wouldn't be surprised. Be sure that you get/got all versions of LimeWire through http://www.limewire.com (some scam sites claim to be limewire, but only repackage old versions and who knows what else they include in the installer).

The best suggestion I can give is to upgrade to a newer version 5.3.6 or even the latest beta 5.4.0 because bug fixes are always being made, along with improvements to avoid viruses and inadvertant file sharing. Also, the look of LimeWire has been updated so it might be a little bit disconcerning the first time you see LW 5.

However, if you continue to use an older version, it's best to make sure you what files you are sharing (4.12 was before my time, but there should be a Library and a way to see what files you are sharing).
