I hate to be bothersome but a friend of mines tried to find a mix of mines and he put the exact name of the song in and the song didn't come up in his search but I still get hits on my shared music. Why is this how is everyone else finding my mixes but people who but the exact keywording and tags in can't

Your friends have an advantage you haven't used yet. They can get your IP address or
Friends identification from you and connect to you directly. The methods vary depending
on which software they use on gnutella, but they are all pretty easy.

Thank you again. We did that and it worked with the direct connect. I know I'm asking alot of questions I just wanna be precise about whats going on. Is there anyway to add a tag on Limewire that leads to just that file. I renamed the files and id-tag of them. Does it make a difference if they was numbered and had only the song title but now they have the artist name, album, and song title. Will it make the search more better. Also would it help if my friends added the same files to their Limewire shared folder would it make the search results easier to find. Hopefully this is my last question as I said sorry if I'm being bothersome.

  1. Right-click on any file in your Library and View File Info for it.
  2. A link in the top right says Copy Link. Click on it.
(That's a magnet link, which leads straight to your file.)
  3. Paste it into any text editor and save it as a .magnet file
Now you can give that file away.

Question I did all the above, but no result

I am Serge's Agent, I did creat a file, put couple of songs in it, put it in the shared files of limewire, but non of my friends were able to find Serge's songs. I don't have any problem such hyphens or any thing else, but I don,t understand what do you mean by "Lime Wire should be opened"????? all of this is confusing to me too.......

I use Lime Wire when I give my English courses and I am able to search all other different songs for different artists, but when it come to Serge's songs, non of the friends were able to find them....... I hope to hear from you very soon and not in the next year as it happened before....... Thanks

Lydia

Thumbs up Thanks for answering my question

Thanks to dpslimewire who has just replied to a thread I have subscribed to entitled - I want upload a song that my band wrote. How do i do it? - in the Creative Commons forum of LimeWire Forums.
The answer was so adequate and now anyone can search, find and listen to Serge's songs either by searching by his name under the Artist section : Serge Bédrossian or by asking for one of the five following songs:

1 - Jaritna Ahla Jara
2 - La différence
3 - Karoun Karoun
4 - Toi l'Étoile de Mon Destin
5 - It's Now Or Never

I hope that everyone can listen to them and try to send comments. Thanks again

Serge and his Agent Lydia
