Hi,

FOR AUDIO TO ITUNES AND IPOD

You simply drag the files (It is not always possible to drag the listings in the Limewire library) into iTunes Library, or a playlist that you have set up in iTunes, or go to iTunes Menu>file>add to library. PLEASE NOTE you can often not drag songs from the Limewire Library. If you do you might get a strange error message about podcast URLs. You must then drag or add the tunes from their folder. This is most likely the Limewire save folder, the location of which can be found in Limewire>tools>options>saving>basic>save folder. Alternatively you can select a file in the Limewire Library, click "explore", and you will be taken to the file's folder.

You can choose whether to create another copy of the file in the iTunes music folder at iTunes>preferences/options>advanced>general>copy files.......

The above holds for Windows Users if you want to add your tunes to the iTunes Library, load tunes on an iPod or burn through iTunes.

Windows users can play their songs in iTunes by going to Limewire's tools>options>iTunes and enable Sharing (You may also need to check your iTunes Preferences: sharing>look for shared libraries [I think]) and your Limewire Library should appear as <yourname>'s LimeWire Tunes under "shared" in the iTunes source list. This way they will play in iTunes but not load on an iPod or burn through iTunes.

Mac users can choose to have files added automatically to iTunes.

------
iPOD VIDEO

To add video it helps to know how to add music first.

If you have mastered that, you need to do the same with videos. HOWEVER, not all videos will open in iTunes and less will load onto an iPod. In order to load onto iPod videos must be MPEG-4 or H.264 format and if they are not you need to convert them to one of these formats. Also not all MPEG-4 videos will load or play on iPod.

http://www.apple.com/ipod/specs.html gives you the specs of the Video iPod

http://www.videohelp.com/ is a very good site .. go there and search ipod video and you will find recommendations of conversion tools. I have heard videora recommended http://www.videora.com/en-us/Convert...d/download.php. I have an idea that converting a large file might take quite a long time, so do be patient.

------
ADDING MUSIC TO OTHER MP3 PLAYERS

With most players you plug in the player and it appears as a new drive on your computer, and you drag the files you want into the new drive. The files must usually be mp3, but some players will play other formats. Check your players manual for specifications.

You cannot drag the files from the Limewire Library, but must find the files, probably in your save folder. If you don't know the location, highlight a file in the LW library and click "explore", and you will be taken to the folder.

This method doesn't work with all players, notably iPod, If you need more help, start a new thread and let us know the make and model number of the player and we'll see what we can do.
