I have a friend who wants to download all my songs using the direct connect feature, but i dont know were to find my own ip to give him.

Any help on were it is?

Hi Zephyr,

Go to Direct connect and you will see your ip, or a message explaining why you can't see it, in which case you can also find your ip buy going with your browser to www.whatismyip.com you will then need to enter a colon followed by your listening port number which you will find in Limewire>tools>options>advanced>firewall configuration, and if you give this to your friend he may still be able to browse and download from you.

Direct connect does not always work .... also if you have a dynamic ip which only you can tell, your ip will change each time you log on and so one days ip address will be useless next day. I hope I have helped and haven't confused you too much
