Default Version 4.12 problems

So I started 4.12 beta and was quickly impressed by the high download speeds. I was like wow!! 45, then 55kb/s? when I usually download at 38kb/s. But after a minute or so, everything just went to 0kb/s. Stayed like that till I paused the download and re-started it. Also, after installing 4.12, a file I had already downloaded 54% of said I had only 4% downloaded. I previewed the incomplete file and it was obviously more than 4% so the counter must be reading wrong. Now, it's downloading at normal speed and not that turbo speed it was downloading some few minutes ago when I first run it. I thought the artificial bandwith limitation was removed in the 4.11s version so limewire could download at full bandwith...

Corruption on the network, or file corruption from LimeWire doing bad things?

I lost it after I installed limewire 4.12 so I would guess the corruption was caused by Limewire 4.12
Now I have to re-download the whole file and the download is very slow even though I have 8 hosts. Average 18kb/s far below my average 39kb/s download speed.
