I remember about two months ago limewire.com got a nice makeover with a cool new layout. But within a day or two it was gone. I believe it was Sam who said the new website would be back when it was done but it's been an awful long time. So has limewire.com decided not to change the look or are they still planning on using the new layout? Thanks.

Sam It has a nice look, but the wording still seems much the same. My particular moan is about

"How often will I be charged?

LimeWire PRO is a one-time purchase; you will never be charged again."

also " Buying LimeWire PRO is a one-time purchase; there is nothing to cancel, no subscription or membership, and no recurring fees."

and similar statements. which are not accurate. This seems like a good time to get it just perfect

Can you clarify how those statements aren't accurate? Once you purchase LimeWire PRO, we will never charge you again (unless you purchase it again). People are concerned that they're subscribing to something and they might incur repeated charges without their involvement. We're trying to say that isn't going to happen.

Well it certainly implies that if you pay once you will be entitled to LW pro for life. There have been a number of problems on the Gnutella forums with people who have for instance lost their pro in a crash, and cannot get it back, or may not have used it for several months and want to get a new version of pro and find the actually have to pay again. There is a recurring payment of 14.50 (reduced rate) which must be made every 6-8 months, and whilst I and many users have no problem with that, the wording on the site does not make it atall clear. I have always felt that in Britain, the Trades description people would say that it meant "for life"

"Buying Limewire pro for $18.88 entitles you to six months of updates and e-mail support, thereafter for a reduced payment for loyal customers will ensure continued updated and support" might be a more accurate way to put it imo

I saw it yestersday and I like the new look. But today I checked it again and the download page comparison graph is changed. They both look better then the old limewire comparison graph but I liked how the pro side was green and the basic was gray, it was a cool contrast. Now it's mainly all white and just a one column has a fading light blue from top to bottom. I do like the get turbo charged with the box that was added above it though. Now you may think this is little minor stuff that doesn't matter rather then wording like Only A Hobo mentioned. But to be honest I rarely read the site. I am more excited about seeing a cool sleek looking website everytime I visit to download or go on the forums. Oh and I also really like the navigation buttons rather then just words for download, features etc. it just looks more professional. Well there's my feedback so far you guys have excellent web designers.
