We've just released another beta in the LimeWire 5.3 series: LimeWire 5.3.0. You can download the free version from: http://www.limewire.com/download/betaversion.php . PRO users can find it on your personal download page.
This beta includes all the main functionality that we're planning on for the production release of 5.3. Here's some new features since the last beta: * BitTorrent updates: * Retain seeding torrents on LimeWire restart * Fix more BitTorrent library loading issues * Upgraded to libtorrent version 0.14.5 * Remove some unnecessary Singleton usage in UI. * Change Guice environment from Production to Development to prevent @Singletons from being eagerly loaded. * Obscene content filter. * Don't allow spam results to be downloaded until they've been unmarked as spam. * Keyword filters are applied to browses and XML metadata. * Add the ability to rename a file. * Fix OS X launcher. * Re-write chat so it isn't initialized on LimeWire startup. * Fix receiving duplicate chat messages. * facebook auto-login * Fix a bug that allowed friends to download more than 3 files at a time. Let us know what you think on the forums here @ http://forum.limewire.org/forumdisplay.php?f=75 . Thanks to everyone for your help in beta testing and feedback! The LimeWire Team |

Much Faster And Liking The New Filters, But Not Much Is New....
Just A Little Suggestion... Is Was Hoping That We Can Have Like a Link Or Button To The Limewire Saved Folder, so we can go straight to files downloaded in to the Libery. Last edited by twl; August 27th, 2009 at 11:11 AM. |

All fixed now.
Don't know what happened in the setup but it's working now. DJ PIP Last edited by djpip27; August 29th, 2009 at 04:32 PM. Reason: Limewire Setup now works. |

twl,
if you right click on any file either in your library or in the download tray, there's an option to locate on disk which will open the folder that its located in. very similar to the button you suggested |

I'm liking the new splash screen, it looks great. I also noticed that you can rename a file easily, that's another good thing. Overall, everything is running fine.
I'm just waiting for this issue to be resolved, and I will feel even more better: https://www.limewire.org/jira/browse/LWC-3312

I shouldn't have spoken so soon. The media player isn't working in this version, correct? It's not working for me. I'm running Windows 7.
